Vuma Services was founded by Thembi Bheka — an ICU nurse, Stanford-trained entrepreneur, 15-year coaching practitioner, and AI systems architect. What looks like a range of disciplines is, in fact, a single thread: the disciplined application of precision thinking to complex, high-stakes problems.
Thembi arrived in Canada with $5. She stayed at the YMCA. She built businesses from there. That is not a footnote — it is the foundation. Every system she has built, every program she has designed, every client she has coached has been shaped by the understanding of what it actually takes to start from nothing and construct something that works.
After more than a decade managing critical care environments where decisions carry life-and-death consequences, Thembi spent 15 years coaching leaders, professionals, and organizations through transformation — building the skills to drive genuine behaviour change, not just deliver information.

She then built Digital Marketing On Demand: a structured training program that took adult learners with no prior technology experience and brought them to a point where they could build websites and run viable online businesses. That program was not a pivot — it was the same operating system applied to a new domain.
Today, Vuma Services deploys that operating system — methodical, evidence-based, outcome-focused — to help Canadian government and institutional clients navigate AI integration, digital transformation, workforce development, and strategic change.
